UCYM Boards and Councils

United Catholic Youth Ministries is supported by groups of volunteers who take a vested interest in the various areas of ministry UCYM supports.

Board of Advisors
The Board of Advisors is a group that provides guidance and support to the administration on programs that will best serve our communities. The board meets to discuss and evaluate the effectiveness of UCYM in the parishes, parish grouping, and wider community. Representatives from all parishes and schools, pastors, and leaders from various ministries make up the board.

For questions about our advisory board, contact Claire Labbe or Gabriela Zarate.
Youth Council
The Youth Council is made up of the peer ministers and is a working group. The council directly advises the directors of youth ministry and help in planning events and retreats.

The council is made up of representatives from different Hispanic ministries who work together to make sure that youth, families, and young adults are united.
Diversity Council
Our Diversity Council is a small group of UCYM leaders who are intent on holding UCYM accountable to its diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging statement and mission of being a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive ministry.

For questions or if you are interested in joining this council, contact our DEIB Team at deib@ucym.org.
