Welcome to our introduction page for human dignity and solidarity and ministries rooted in Catholic Social Teaching (CST). We hope the links provided in this menu will be helpful in providing you resources and contacts that pertain to ministries that help to uphold human dignity and solidarity. United Catholic Youth Ministries (UCYM) fully supports the Gospel message and Christ's mission for us to protect all life from conception to natural death. Sometimes, we find this to be challenging in these challenging times when many things that are perhaps "easier" are more available options than those that help us live out the call to protect life, whether that be for unexpected pregnancies, caring for our common home, or how to welcome and care for those who are seeking a better life and crossing borders. It is our mission as Catholics to uphold the dignity of each person as God's creation and to encourage others to do the same. UCYM takes a particular interest in advancing ministry that meets the needs of our young people, especially those on the margins. We partner with organizations and work with the Archdiocese of Chicago to educate and advocate for life. If there are resources or ministries that you do not see, please share them with us.
