ucym leadership signs statement in support of bishops

The staff of United Catholic Youth Ministries takes a strong stance on leading ministry for youth, young adults, and families in a way that is driven by faith, inclusive, and caring. Recently, we signed on a statement, as the staff of United Catholic Youth Ministries, that supports protections for LGBTQ+ youth from Catholic bishops. We sign the statement in support of the Catholic bishops that wish to further show support for our young LGBTQ+ siblings in Christ by affirming their being God's children and that they should be protected from bullying, harassment, and other harm. Please read more about the statement below.
