Youth Minister

Hey! My name is Erandeni Navarrete, and I started to get involved in the church community towards the end of middle school and beginning of high school. The events hosted by the UCYM community have always been fun and interesting, also the connections and bonds we built through this community are strong and beautiful. When I think back on all the events and retreats I have been a part of through UCYM, I think of all these beautiful memories and moments we all had as a whole. So, I would love to be able to give these same memories and fun moments to those who decide to participate and be involved in the UCYM community. I also, very much love taking all these opportunities I get, to be more involved in the church and build a stronger connection with God.

Hi, my name is Rebeca Castro. I currently attend Oakton College, hoping to later continue toward a bachelor's degree in biology. I was a part of the youth group at what was formally known as  St. Nicholas Parish, and have recently been given the opportunity to continue this new journey at UCYM. Being a part of UCYM allows me to serve young teens in my community and other communities that struggle with having their voices heard. I'm excited about what this new journey will bring for young adults like me who struggle with feeling welcomed and heard in the church.
