​Hey, my name is Edwin Navarrete. I am a new member of the board. I am a junior at Case Western Reserve University studying to become a Mechanical Engineer. I have been a part of the UCYM and former St. Nicholas Parish communities since I was a freshman in high school. I’m grateful and excited to have the opportunity to be involved in the future of UCYM as a board member.

Hello, My name is Carmelita and I am one of the members on the board. I started very young helping around the church and found that adults like Oblate James to be one of my biggest supporters and mentor. I was part of the original group of youth who built a small but very strong community now known as UCYM. I believe UCYM is a safe space for teens or anyone who needs it, as it was mine when I was getting through high school and trying to figure out what to do after graduating. I am now close to finishing my nursing program at Morton College and I firmly believe that is the reason I stay connected to the organization to help the youth and others who come through and need that special push to accomplish what’s ahead of them.
