​Hello! My name is Ronabel Castillo and I am a member of the board and co-leader of the Communications team. I am currently the Director of Youth Formation at Holy Child Jesus Parish in Rogers Park. As a young adult in college, I discovered United Catholic Youth Ministries (UCYM) and was immediately drawn to the welcoming ministry they have fostered. I had grown up with a youth ministry at my home parish, but being part of the young adult community at UCYM was the next important step in my faith journey. UCYM is not only a safe space for young Catholics but also a discipleship community helping each other learn more of Christ and an encouraging support system as we journey in faith together. It is a blessing to continue to be a part of UCYM and its future!

My name is Marshall Del Valle, I am a freshman in college. I have been part of UCYM since 2017 and have been a peer-leader since 2020. I also run a small pressure washing business that I started in 10th grade. A couple goals I have for UCYM and for myself is to bring the new young Catholic kid generation to more light and so kids can not only knowledge about God but also to learn how to Love him as he loves all and it doesn’t matter who you are or where you came from. He loves you and so do we! :)

One fact about me is I am the oldest at 19 years old with three younger siblings and my mom. We are a small and rowdy family at times especially with my little sister who is almost four, but incredible close and supportive of each other thanks to my mom unwavering love and faith.
 
The reason I am still part of UCYM now as a young adult leader is because everyone here treats you like family and is always there for you when times are rough just like the LORD! :)
