Our board of directors has many dedicated people who support UCYM in a variety of ways. 

• Officers are the board's leadership and guide the board's work in collaboration with the working group chairs.  
• Spiritual Advisors are clergy and religious who commit to supporting UCYM's spiritual and sacramental life. 
• Voting Members support in setting strategic direction as well as policies and procedures that will help advance UCYM's mission and operations.
• Auxiliary Members are non-voting members who join a board working group that supports implementation of ministry and administration.

Board Working Groups

The Board of Directors is organized into working groups to maximize the God-given gifts of our board members in direct support of the administration and ministry of UCYM. 

Executive Team

The Executive Team drives the work of high-level administration and ministerial decision making as a collaborative body between the board and staff.

Faith Formation and Evangelization

The Faith Formation and Evangelization Team creates, develops, and implements programs that support the parishes that UCYM serves and beyond.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB)

The DEIB Team collaborates on making sure UCYM holds to its DEIB statement in all it does from programs to communication. This team is also responsible for approving statements made by UCYM in collaboration with the Communications and Outreach Team. 

Communications and Outreach

The Communications and Outreach Team develops communication and outreach strategies. The team has oversight on social media practices as well as content in collaboration with the staff. 

Finance and Operations

The Finance and Operations Team is responsible for proposing the annual budget to the board, creating administrative best practices, and overseeing audits.

Young Adult Board (20s)

The Young Adult Board is a branch of the Faith Formation and Evangelization Team that is only made up of young adults who serve as directors on the board as well as other young adults who want to be part of the development of programming for young adults primarily in their 20s.
