Care for Creation

When we can see God reflected in all that exists, our hearts are moved to praise God for all God's creatures and to worship God in union with them. (Laudato Si’, 87)
Under our Human Concerns Ministry is our connection and promise to care for our common home. Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato Si' paved the way for us to not only make a promise to care for our common home, but to put it into practice through the Laudato Si Action Platform (LSAP). Care for Creation is not only about the environment, but also about social structure that are supported by an earth that is healthy.

Laudato Si' Week
May 24-31, 2024

In our time of ecological and climate crisis, it is important that we not only pray for our common home, but that we take tangible actions to change systems that are corrupting, eroding, and destroying the world given to us. How will you celebrate and observe this important week?
