Confirmation

UCYM collaborates with the Confirmation programs offered in parishes and has the capacity to help coordinate parish Confirmation programs. Through service, liturgy, and social events, we engage with students in Confirmation preparation during their two-year sacramental formation. 

Youth Ministry has an important role in Confirmation preparation, which is to help students understand their ongoing commitment being made during sacramental preparation so that they know "what they are getting themselves into." The sacrament of Confirmation is not only about the ceremony. Sacraments are lived experiences and during sacramental preparation it needs to be understood that you are confirming your faith and to live your life as a disciple of Christ.
