Peer Ministry

Peer ministers serve their peers who are in formation. This program is open to any Catholic teen in 11th or 12th grade. ​Peer Ministers are the voice of the youth to the UCYM staff and board. 

Program Completion Goals:
  • 40 hours of service
  • 12 faith formation sessions
  • 12 hours of youth group/community building activities
  • ​2 retreat experiences (1 where you are a participant, 1 where you are part of the retreat team as a peer leader)
  • Organize 1 event or program
  • 12 hours of liturgical ministry
  • 9 Gospel reflections
  • Weekly Mass attendance tracking
  • Reflection of Growth in Spiritual Life
